The Hispanic/Latino Community Outreach Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to build strategic relationships in the Hispanic/Latino community, conduct a variety of outreach activities, and serve as a referral source for FCCCG services. 


                                      I. Duties include Community Outreach and Recruitment 

A. Creating and implementing an annual outreach plan.

B. Developing a marketing Hispanic plan to recruit individuals/families who may benefit from FCCCG services organizational objectives.

C. Attending relevant community meetings; participate in relevant councils, roundtables, and committees.

D. Scheduling and personally conducting at least 8 presentations a month.

E. Maintaining relationships with collaborative partners and cultivate new ones.

F. Coordinating special events including Domestic Violence Prevention Conferences, etc. 

G. Creating a Quarterly Hispanic Newsletter.  

H.  Maintaining existing and seek out new relationships with organizations that serves the Hispanic/Latino community.

I. Serving as an interpreter for Hispanic/Latino individuals/families that seek FCCCG counseling services.

J. Completing other duties as assigned.


                                                         II. Qualifications & Competencies 

*Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of one year experience in successful community outreach/recruitment and service coordination or any equivalent combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.                                  

*Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

*Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships.

*Committed to the mission of serving individuals/families in the Hispanic/Latino community.

 *Highly organized, analytical, IT-competent – proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

*Ability to perform several tasks concurrently, time management and organizational skills.

*Ability to support, network and motivate staff, and clientele.

*Ability to maintain confidential information.

*Ability to organize and maintain detailed records.

*Complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.


                                                   III. Essential Functions/Working Conditions

*Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation.

*Light physical demands.

*Must be able to work under stress of meeting deadlines and changing priorities.

*Able to manipulate normal business machines and technology. For example; able to operate computer and computer systems, office copiers, fax, remote access, phones.

*Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.


Salary: $20.00 per hour with benefits after successful 90 days of employment.
